The first edition of a series of Training Schools took place in the historic centre of Venice, Italy on 16 – 20 April 2018 hosted by Ca'Foscari University of Venice and GreenDecision. The school aimed to transfer the State-of-the-Art knowledge on a variety of topics from key experts to the new generation of nano-environmental, health and safety, and biomedicine professionals. The lectures were held in Aula Mario Baratto at the Ca' Foscari Palace and Sala Giovanni Morelli at the Palazzo Malcanton Marcorà.
The third Italian-Swedish worskhop was held on March 22nd and 23rd 2018, as an event organized by BIORIMA partners and around BIORIMA main themes.
Following the two days of BIORIMA first working meeting, on February 21st a dissemination event was arranged to launch the project.
The first BIORIMA working meeting took place at University Paris Diderot, at the Paris Rive Gauche Campus!
The newly launched Horizon 2020 project BIORIMA aims to develop an Integrated Risk Management (IRM) framework for NBM used in ATMP and MD. The BIORIMA IRM framework is a structure upon which the validated tools and methods for materials, exposure, hazard and risk identification/assessment and management are allocated plus a rationale for selecting and using them to manage and reduce the risk for specific NBM used in ATMP and MD.
Directly after the first working meeting organised in Paris by the University Paris Diderot we will officially launch our BIORIMA project at the OECD conference centre on 21st February 2018.
Hosted and co-organized by Green Decision in collaboration with the Institute of Occupational Medicine, Ca' Foscari University, BioNanoNet and Warrant Group, the first edition of a series of Training Schools organized within the EU funded Horizon 2020 BIORIMA project, will take place in the historic center of Venice, Italy on 16 – 20 April 2018.
