International Conference on Nanostructured Materials

NANO Conference, spearheaded by International Committee on Nanostructured Materials (ICNM), has been acting as a traditional meeting place for most nanomaterials researchers, where the state-of-the-art research and latest advanced findings in the field are presented. A range of topics at the frontier of knowledge in the field of nanomaterials will be discussed and a wide number of scientific and technological talks will be given by distinguished scholars and scientists. ICNM initiated the first flagship event in Cancun, Mexico, in 1992. Since this inception, 14 top-level biennial flagship events have led an impactful existence across the globe — in Stuttgart, Germany in 1994; Hawaii, USA in 1996; Stockholm, Sweden in 1998; Sendai, Japan in 2000; Orlando, USA in 2002; Wiesbaden, Germany in 2004; Bangalore, India in 2006; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2008; Rome, Italy, in 2010; Rhodes, Greece in 2012; Moscow, Russia, in 2014; Quebec, Canada, in 2016, and Hong Kong, China in 2018. The 15th International Conference on Nanostructured Materials (NANO2020) will be the first conference to be held in Australia, on 7-10 July 2020 in Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Australia has a large and strong research community of nanostructured materials. This conference will serve as a platform for academic and industrial experts and students from top institutions and companies around the world sharing their research and development achievements, to exchange ideas, to establish relationships for future high-level research initiatives and activities in the nano field, and to yield symbiotic experience for world-leading scientists, delegates and sponsoring companies alike.
Extensive research on nanomaterials has unveiled many interesting and promising material properties for novel applications in transportation, electronics and photonics. In order to benefit mankind for such discoveries, it is necessary to cross the chasm between nanomaterials, nanotechnology, nanodevice and their applications. This effort will require a multi-disciplinary approach combining research in materials design, processing, modelling, characterization, and metrology. Commercialization of nanomaterials and nanotechnology is also important to fuel future research. The aim of this conference is to identify the paths between fundamental research and potential applications in transportation, green environment, catalyst, energy storage devices, energetic chips, artificial intelligent, and machine learning.
The 2020 Conference will consist of stimulating program of plenary sessions, keynote speeches, panel discussions, poster presentations and exhibitions in nano-science and nanotechnology. We aim to make the conference a genuine two-way process and as such, technology knowledge transfer, commercialization and industrialization can be further enhanced through the interactivity.
